The city grew by over three percent in 2017 and is projected to see over two percent growth in 2018. Wage growth in 2017 was almost six percent and will be over seven percent in 2018. The second city for growth is the Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, Washington, area with a projected population growth of close to two percent in 2018 and a projected wage growth of almost seven percent. Heading south in the United States, the third-ranking metro region is Dallas-Plano-Irving, Texas. In 2017, this area saw population growth of nearly two percent and is projected to increase further during 2018. Wage growth in this area is expected to grow by seven percent.
